Do not be mistaken, this is not the happy land of reality that you live in where the democratic system of voting rules with an whiffle bat. This is a Totalitarian Dictatorship ruled by a lead pipe. Follow the rules and we'll have no trouble. Keep it light, keep it fun, and use some COMMON SENSE.
1. BE CIVIL
2. Use the brain in your head and think before you speak/write/post. Consider the consequences. I don't suffer fools.
3. You can and will be banned for flaming, spaming, trolling, pornography, racism, smut, snuff, and anything I or my lethal team of moderators find offensive. Refer to Rule #2 Any of these will lead to a temp ban or most likely a perma ban.
4. See Rule #1, if someone is acting like an idiot let them know in a civilized manner. An eloquent turn of phrase will do more then 50 swear words strung together.
5. Swearing, alright I admit even I will swear from time to time, keep it light and stay away from the F-bomb. See Rule #3 And under no circumstances are you allowed to use racial slurs, gender discrimination, or personal threats (either outright or implied, this includes threats to friends, family, and/or pets). The Mods have my permission to perma ban your *hiney*.
6. Trolls, suspected Trolls and people looking for a fight will be perma banned without notice.
* An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.
7. Leave your politics and religious discussion/opinions at home. This is neither the time nor place to flaunt your ignorance. Doing so will be a temp ban.
8. Ribbing and light flaming is tolerated. Hell we all like to give each other *poopie* once in a while. DON'T let it get out of hand. See Rule #2
9. NO L337 aka LEET speak allowed. Unless of course your ripping on it in some fashion. LEET just displays your inability to communicate properly, or even think properly. Use quasi proper grammar, and for the sake of all that is good in this world use the provided spell checker. If your post is a chore for one of my mods or myself to read it will be deleted.
10. If you find yourself frustrated, offended, etc., contact a Mod and tell them why. They will do their best to solve your problems. (board related issues only) Game day problems, and problem with rules and regs outside of these boards are to be sent to the SCAA Reps.
11. DO NOT argue SEMANTICS... ever, use some common sense, see Rule 2.
12. When you are about to wake up a dead thread, take a minute to think about whether or not your pearl of wisdom is going to benefit anyone. Asking for clarification on the topic is generally accepted. Most everything else is not. Necro posting is irritating. Frequent Necro Posting can lead to a temp ban.
